Albert, a sixth grader from California and a student of Dr. Joe’s Writing Classes, earned a perfect score on the WordMasters Challenge—a national vocabulary competition involving nearly 150,000 students annually from around USA. Nationally, only 32 sixth graders achieved this result. Albert’s grade team scored an impressive success in the second of three meets this year, placing first in the nation.

Our students Margaret, Ellen and Karl won in the PediatricRead Writing Contest! Among the 60,000 eligible students, only 15 of them have won a prize, and our students take 3 of the 15 positions. Considering only four of our students have joined the competition, we should even be more proud of them!

Our high school student Rachel won a top ten prize in the North American Youth Chess Championship. She also won a position in the World Youth Chess Championships (South Africa).
